Terms of service

Written to be read, not to hide behind. If anything here seems unfair, tell us — that’s a reasonable thing to raise before you book.

Last updated: 2026.

Quotes and prices

The price you get from the quote builder is a firm estimate based on what you told us. We confirm it at the first visit once we’ve seen the garden. If the garden is materially different from the description — bigger, or a much larger backlog — we will tell you the revised price before starting work and you are free to decline with nothing to pay.

There is no call-out fee and no fuel surcharge — the quoted price is the price.

Access

You’re responsible for making sure we can get to the garden on the agreed day. If we arrive and can’t get in — a bolted gate, a blocked path, a dog loose in the garden when we’d agreed otherwise — we’ll message you and rebook. We won’t climb over anything.

Where you give us a key safe code or similar, we keep it confidential and use it only to provide the service.

Payment

Regular customers are invoiced monthly in arrears by bank transfer, for the visits actually completed. One-off jobs are payable on the day. Invoices are due within 14 days. If an invoice goes unpaid we’ll pause the service and talk to you before doing anything else — we’re not going to send debt collectors over dog mess.

Cancelling and pausing

There is no contract, no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee. Tell us and we stop. You can pause for as long as you like. If you pause for a long period, the visit you restart with may carry a catch-up charge because a backlog will have built up again.

If you need to skip a single visit, please give us as much notice as you can so we can use the slot elsewhere. There’s no charge for a skipped visit.

Weather and missed visits

We work in almost all weather. We may postpone for genuine safety reasons — high winds, ice, flooding, or anything that makes the garden unsafe to walk. You are never charged for a visit that didn’t happen, and we’ll catch it up as soon as we can.

What we’re responsible for

If we damage something, we put it right. Tell us as soon as you notice and we’ll deal with it.

We are not responsible for: pre-existing damage; lawn discolouration from dog urine, which is not something waste removal fixes; the behaviour of animals left in the garden against our advice; or waste deposited after we’ve left, which is simply how dogs work.

If we get it wrong

If we miss an area, tell us and we’ll return and clear it free of charge as soon as we can get there. If we come on the wrong day or miss a visit without telling you, that visit is free. We’d rather fix it than argue about it.

Health and hygiene

We disinfect boots and tools between properties to avoid carrying parvovirus or worm eggs between gardens. Waste is double-bagged and placed in your general waste bin unless you’ve asked us to remove it, in which case we dispose of it through proper channels. It never goes in a food or garden waste bin.

Complaints

Email or ring us. A real person will answer and we’ll aim to sort it within a few days. There is no complaints department because there are not enough of us to have one.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
