You scoop, we collect

You do the scooping.
We take it away.

A lockable caddy sits outside your house. You drop the bags in, we swap it on your area’s day and dispose of it properly. Cheaper than having us in the garden, and the smell leaves with us.

How it works

The bit nobody wants is the storing

Most people don’t actually mind picking it up. What they mind is the bag sitting in the wheelie bin for nine days in August, and the bin smelling of it long after collection day.

So we hand you a 23-litre lockable caddy that lives outside. You put the bags straight in, the lid keeps it sealed, and on your area’s day we empty it and take the contents away with us.

  • From £7.50 a collection — cheaper than us doing the scooping
  • Sealed lockable caddy, so nothing smells and nothing gets into it
  • Same day every week, decided by your part of Weston
  • Waste taken off your property entirely, not left in your bin
  • Caddy supplied for a one-off £20, or use your own and pay nothing
  • Add a rinse-and-deodorise on every swap for £3

Who books this

It suits three sorts of household

Flats and small yards

No wheelie bin of your own, or a shared bin store you’d rather not put dog waste in. The caddy is yours and it stays sealed.

People who don’t mind the job

You’re out there with the dog anyway. You just don’t want it sitting in your bin until Thursday.

Multi-dog households

Three dogs fill a bin fast. Extra dogs are only 50p each on a collection, so it stays cheap however many you have.

Questions

About the collection service

It is a 23-litre lockable bin — roughly the size of a kitchen swing bin, with a clip lid. That is comfortably a week of waste for two or three dogs. If you fill it faster we can come twice a week.

No. It is a one-off £20 if you want us to supply one, and it is then yours to keep even if you stop the service. If you already have a lidded bin you are happy to use, tell us and there is nothing to pay.

We take it away and dispose of it through proper waste channels. It never goes in a food or garden bin, and it never goes down a drain.

Yes, usually by a fair bit — from £7.50 a collection against about £12 for a weekly garden visit. You are doing the picking up, so you keep the difference.

Any time. Plenty of people start with collection and move to full scooping when their knees or their patience runs out. Just message us.
